Banana flower recipe



Choosing bananas is a complicated and time consuming task. Most people do not know exactly what to take and what to throw away. When the thick cover of the dark red colored flower is unfolded, the bunches of yellowish pink flowers inside look like a bunch of bananas. 

The middle stalk or stamen is hard, it does not cook, sometimes it is bitter (depending on the species of banana). The outer semi-transparent papudra (calyx) is for the inner petals and the support of the scalp, it is bitter and juicy. 

As the banana blossoms unfolds, the buds begin to appear on the inside.

Kelphulaji bhaji / bhaji / pangi is very nutritious and must be eaten. 

After chopping the banana flower, the vegetable does not add water in buttermilk or lemon juice, but it turns black (becomes oxidised). Bananas have no cholesterol, no sugar, but a lot of fat and calcium. Rich in sodium, it is also rich in good quality protein, magnesium, iron and copper. Banana extract controls sugar, prevents the growth of germs in the body.
