Chole recipe in English
1 cup white chickpeas, 1 cup finely chopped onion, Two and a half cups of finely chopped tomatoes, 1 and half tsp Chole Masala
For bursting: 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric, 2 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp ginger paste, 3 garlic cloves paste, 1 tsp amchoor powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 2-3 tsp oil, Cilantro, Lemon, Salt.
Recipes
Soak chickpeas for 9-10 hours. Then cook chickpeas in a cooker with 4 whistles, add a little salt in the water while cooking. Cook the chickpeas softly.
If you blow too much, the gram will explode. Therefore, everyone should cook chickpeas by guessing the home cooker.
When gram is cooked, heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste and saut. When onion is cooked, add tomatoes. Add some coriander powder. Cover and cook over low heat.
Once the tomatoes are soft, add cooked chickpeas, add salt to taste so that the salt settles inside the chickpeas. Add as much water as required. Cover and simmer over medium heat.
After 2-3 minutes add chole masala and amchoor powder and stir. If you feel less salt or chili powder, add it on top. Let it simmer for a while.
The combination of Chole and Bhature is perfect.
