Ingredients 1. Two bowls of basmati rice or your favorite rice. (Soaked for an hour) Ambemohor or Indrayani rice tastes good but used basmati as both are not available at home. 2. 15-20 medium sized prawns 3. Ginger garlic crush 4. Lemon juice A lemon 5. Cut green chillies into 4 vertical slices 6. Finely chop the cilantro 7. Two onions chopped vertically 8. Half coconut milk (Half a large coconut, grate it and squeeze the milk.) Spices: 1. Two spices cardamom 2. Six green cardamoms 3. Two cinnamon pieces 4. Four bay leaves 5. Eight out of ten blacks 6. Four cloves 7. A little Shahajire 8. A Jayavantri 9. A little Kasuri methi 10. Sabudana Tikki INGREDIENTS 6 Servings 250 grams soaked sago 1 cup refined oil 1 boiled potato 2 large chopped green chilli 1/4 cup coriander leaves sendha namak as required 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 cup crushed roasted peanuts METHOD Step 1. Soak The Sago In Water To make this scrumptious recipe, soak sago (sabudana) in water for around 2 to 3 hours. When the sago has turned a little fluffy, drain the excess water and transfer the sago in a bowl. Step 2. Mash The Ingredients To Make The Tikki Now to prepare the tikki mixture, take a big bowl and add the boiled potatoes in it. Mash them completely using your hands. Now add crushed roasted peanuts, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and sendha namak along with the drained sago. Step 3. Biryani is one of the most popular in India today. Today we will talk a little bit about the origin of biryani "Biryani" means fried before cooking and "birinj" means rice in Persian, "biryani" is a gift from Persia, and is believed to have come to India through the Mughals. Biryani is said to have been invented by the Mughals themselves.  History has it that Mumtaz Mahal, the queen of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, developed a type of biryani in the year 1600, specially designed to power his army.
